:: Mikelson 57 Tackle Centers ::

We are currently commissioning a Mikelson 57 at our docks in San Diego, CA. Each week we will blog about the many features that are installed and integrated into this sportfisher. The Mikelson 57 features custom built tackle centers that are specifically designed for the boat.

There are two tackle centers installed on both the port and starboard sides of the cockpit that provide ample room for fishing tackle, lures, line, pliers, knifes, etc.

There is also one large tackle center that features acrylic doors, King Starboard frames, and all stainless steel hardware. The two large outer doors are on lift-off hinges so that they can be removed and stowed for easy access once you are on the fishing grounds. Inside you will find five storage drawers with removable dividers, Plano tackle boxes, and hanging lure bags.

Lastly, each boat gets a custom set of stainless steel rocket launchers. Since each boat we build is custom tailored to thier owner you can be sure to have your boat rigged exactly as you prefer.
